The Savannah College of Art and Design offers a beautiful,
unique setting and a variety of facilities to turn any event
into a memorable occasion. Conference participants enjoy comfortable
and convenient accommodations, excellent dining and on-site
catering, and state-of-the-art meeting spaces. The conference
services department offers comprehensive conference planning
services and on-site registration assistance.
Whether it is an elegant banquet, reception or a picnic in
the park, SCAD is equipped to meet the culinary needs of any
conference. Dining services offers a variety of meal plan
options, box lunches and catering. Café SCAD and J.O.'s
Diner both feature a variety of made-to-order foods, including
grilled and deli items, classic comfort foods, vegetarian
selections, soups, salads and desserts. Both dining halls
are conveniently located within walking distance of the residence
halls.
Oglethorpe House, Dyson House and Weston House residence halls
are all available from late June to mid-August. Each of these
residence halls can accommodate 400-500 people and includes
air conditioning and a private bathroom. State-of-the-art
computer labs are available in Turner House and Dyson House.
SCAD has exceptional facilities for large meetings, receptions,
breakout sessions and lectures. The college offers several
art galleries that feature the works of nationally and internationally
renowned artists. These spaces are versatile venues that add
a unique flair to any conference.
The staff at SCAD is experienced in conference planning and
